The Zuiderzee is a lovely 22 meters long authentic Tjalk with a cozy saloon in Old Dutch style.


What we have to offer:
- A cozy saloon for 29 people, board games, wood- burning stove, maritime literature, music centre
- A simple caboose with two fridges, crockery, pans and frying pans, cutlery and thermos jugs and storing place for food from home ( in case of self service)
- Cabins with comfortable mattresses of 180 or 200 cm long. You will be supplied with a clean sheet and a pillow and clean pillowcase. The duvet and bed linen you could either order in advance or bring with you. Each cabin has central heating and wash basins with mirror. There are 20 beds on board, four of which are double beds. If you don’t want to share bed, it’s advisable to book for a group of max. 16 people
- Two WC’s of which one with shower
- There is enough space on deck for comfortable sitting or lying down.

What we do not offer:
This is not a cruise ship, so we don’t have luxuries on board. There is no dishwasher or gas oven, for instance. Electricity and water are to be used in moderation. You can charge your mobile or camera on board, but can’t dry your hair. The latter can be done in the special shower cabins at the harbor. For the same reason you’d better leave your microwave oven and toaster at home. The toilets are flushed with surface water.
